After many months I've finally gotten most of Safe Haven online.  I feel good about the new look.

We are in our 5th year now and are celebrating over 400 successful adoptions.  There are always more birds waiting in the wings, so to speak!

Chrissy has finally completed and opened her new hurricane proof birdroom, a necessity in Florida.  In addition, she just accepted 56 birds that were taken in a confiscation.  These birds were living in dire, roach infested conditions.  The owners admitted to being breeders, selling their birds to local pet shops.  Of course, these birds will be quarantined until their emotional and physical health can be accessed.  At that point they wil be available for adoption.  I took in 11 more out of this group, all of them thin and malnourished.

This is just the tip of the iceburg.
